These age-fighting vitamin C complexes work synergistically to provide immediate and long-term antioxidant protection, while boosting collagen production, and lightening areas of hyper-pigmentation. 

Featured Ingredients 

Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate | A stable, lipid/oil-soluble vitamin C complex that is easily and quickly absorbed in the skin. This potent form of vitamin C is more effective due to its ability to penetrate the cellular membrane and provide maximum protection from free radical attack. This restorative antioxidant plumps the skin by directly stimulating collagen production and brightens the over-all skin tone by inhibiting melanin production. 

Ascorbyl Glucoside | A highly stabilized form of vitamin C, once penetrated in the skin, it is converted to L-ascorbic acid (pure vitamin C). 

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate | A stable form of antioxidant vitamin C that promotes collagen production, lightens the skin, and reduces ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species), one of the leading factors in the aging process. 

Shea Butter | Originating from the seeds of African Shea or Karite Trees, this luxurious ingredient is not only a suburb moisturizer, it also regenerates and soothes the skin, protects it from external factors (such as UV rays or wind) and is rich in antioxidants. 

Application | Following cleansing and toner application, apply a dime size amount over entire face, neck, and décolleté. Finish with moisturizer of your choice. May be used daily. 

General Theory [Vitamin C] | Vitamin C is a well-known antioxidant. When evaluating its ability to fight free radical damage, it appears that Vitamin C, like all antioxidants, is most effective when working in combination with other antioxidants. Vitamin C is known to be a direct and indirect antioxidant, meaning it directly fights free radicals and helps to recycle other antioxidants. When an antioxidant reacts with a free radical, it, in turn, is damaged by the free radical it is fighting. Vitamin C then comes in to repair the free radical damage in the antioxidant, allowing it to continue with its free radical scavenging duties. 

In addition to its powerful antioxidant benefits, Vitamin C is a crucial component in the production of cellular energy and collagen formation. When formulated into the proper vehicles, it can also have a skin lightening effect.
