Colostrum | Colostrum is the nutrient-rich milk produced by mammals late in their pregnancy, typically lasting up to two to five days after giving birth.  It is packed with vital immune-boosting nutrients and antibodies to ensure maximum support for susceptible newborns.  When applied topically, Colostrum helps regenerate all skin types.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice | Improves skin hydration and helps increase the rate of healing. Aloe Vera contains calming properties and helps repair damaged epidermal cells.

Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Oil | Widely used by American Indians for medicinal purposes, this plant oil provides potent anti-inflammatory, wound healing, and astringent properties to the skin. Often used in sun protection and after-sun formulations due to its ability to counter act the effects of UVA rays as well as absorbing UVA and UVB rays. 

General Theory [Colostrum and the Immune System] | The skin is said to be the most important part of the immune system. Not only is it the body’s first line of defense by creating a boundary from environmental factors, it is also a boundary against germs attempting to harm the body. Furthermore, skin cells naturally secrete antibacterial elements causing most germs and bacteria to die upon contact with the skin. On a deeper level, a combination of Langerhan cells and melanocytes in the epidermis play an important roll in the warning component of the immune system. Certain skin conditions, such as eczema, severely dry skin, acne, and rosacea, impair the skin’s ability to protect, causing it to crack or thin in affected areas. This results in the skin being more susceptible to the penetration of infectious agents, which cause further irritation and infection.

When applied topically, Colostrum can support and jump-start the immune response of the skin. Bovine Colostrum contains immune signaling polypeptides and is the most abundant source of immune transfer factors. Immune transfer factors educate or modulate a recipient's immune system: teaching it to: recognize bacteria or antigens, communicate the knowledge that they are present, and then trigger the immune system into action. The molecular structures of the immune factors and growth factors in Bovine Colostrum are very similar to those found in humans; therefore, it can be safely consumed and efficiently utilized by humans.

Application | After enzyme and/or specialty product application, apply a dime size amount over entire face, neck, and décolleté. Use morning and night. For daytime, follow with sunscreen application.
